North Adelaide is a very fortunate place indeed. It has a post Office, it’s got a lovely lady in charge of the Library where you can get a nice cup of coffee (or several) and then there’s a place for the children.
When I was younger you could put children quite safely in the street and they would play games like tug of war and ‘round the houses’. But you you dare not do it these days.
After kindergarten we used to walk to school for three miles, which was perfectly normal. Nowadays kids go by car and then some kids still get snatched up. It reflects poorly on society.
Adelaide is all really nice, you can walk in the park Wellington Square, mind you I think the rates are ridiculous. But it’s an ideal spot.
